The V92 degausser provides a truly universal, desk-top degaussing facility that meets the needs of a diverse range of user groups using a wide range of audio, video and computer tapes and cassettes.
Part Number: ZZ 009157
Sitting neatly on any table-top, the low-noise V92 is the most compact, high energy tape degausser tool on the market. It’s simple and quick to operate with tapes taking as little as 10 seconds to erase completely.
The V92 tape degausser is a compact and high energy eraser, it is capable of erasing all high energy magnetic media, oxide or metal-based including broadcast, video, data, and diskettes. It is ideal for users who require an efficient and powerful multiple media degausser.
The V92 digitape master has a very high gauss rating of 4,000 and erases all LTO tape, DVC Pro, 4 mm and 8 mm, Hi 8, QIC-DC 600, 2000, TK50, 70, 85, DLT, 3480/3490E/3590E, 4mm/8mm /Exabyte/Travan.
Easy Operation
Operation of the V92 is simple. For Erasing Cassettes and Cartridges the operator turns the security key on the front of the V92 to the “On” position. Pressing the red “Power” button turns on the magnetic field. The operator then takes the media and passes it across the top surface on the V92 from one side to the other in one slow and smooth motion. Turn the media through 90° and repeat the motion. Flip over the media and subject it to a third pass, turn 90° and do a fourth and final pass. The media is now erased and ready for reuse if required.
Service and Support
The V92 degausser comes with an impressive 36 month back to base, all parts and labor included a warranty. Extended warranties are also available. We are so confident in our product build quality that whether you opt for an extended warranty or not, our factory-based technical support team are available for free phone and email support. This support extends for the entire lifetime of ownership.
Compliance
The V92 is designed to help you comply with the following Government Mandates that require the destruction of sensitive information stored on Backup Tapes before their disposal.

Safe & Secure
With safety in mind and to meet the latest ICNIRP Magnetic Exposure Guidelines, the V92’s field is concentrated near the top operational surface where the media is degaussed.
